PAJE: What made you realize that this is definitely the path you're supposed to be on?

Treze-Gaye: There came a moment when I realized that making gospel music wasn’t just something I loved, it was something I was called to do.

Every time I sang, every time I wrote, I felt a deep sense of purpose and peace that I couldn’t find anywhere else. It wasn’t just about the applause or the performance, it was about seeing how the music touched people’s hearts, brought them hope, and pointed them back to God.

That confirmation through people's testimonies, the doors God kept opening, and the joy I felt even during the challenging times made it clear to me; this is where I’m meant to be.

PAJE: What scripture or Biblical principle anchors your journey or purpose?

Treze-Gaye: One scripture that really anchors my journey is Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” One might say this is cliche but it reminds me that my life and my calling are part of God’s divine plan.

Even when the road gets hard or uncertain, I can trust that He’s guiding every step. I’m not just singing for popularity; I’m walking in a purpose He designed long before I even knew it. That keeps me grounded and focused on why I do what I do.

PAJE: What inspired you to begin this journey?

Treze-Gaye: What inspired me to begin this journey was a deep desire to use the gift God gave me to glorify Him and to impact lives. I realized that music had always been a powerful part of my life; it could heal, uplift, and encourage.

There came a point where I knew it wasn’t enough to just sing in private or for small groups; God was calling me to share it with the world. Seeing how Gospel music had shaped my own faith journey made me want to be that vessel for others too to bring hope, joy, and truth through every song I release.
