Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
In whom or what are you trusting to lead your path? Do you struggle to trust God completely? Have you ever wondered how I can trust God completely with all of the circumstances happening in my life? What do I need to turn over to him? If your path seems unclear with no sense of true direction, remember this: God already knows our way, and He has a perfect plan for our lives. Rest assured!

Proverbs 3:5-6, first, implores us to trust in the Lord with all our heart. That is, we are to depend on God completely with everything within us. Being confident in knowing that He is able to do the impossible in our lives. When we learn to trust God’s plan for our lives, we then begin to build trust in hard circumstances, knowing that, no matter what, He will come through for us. In any loving relationship, you must learn to trust. That is how it is with God; we must learn how to trust Him with every area and aspect of our lives because He is trustworthy.
Second, we must not lean on our own understanding of the circumstances that are happening in our lives but seek God’s wisdom. I know this can sometimes be hard for most people because of the constant disappointment. But trusting God is the most important thing you can do when you don’t know what to do or you don’t have all the answers. Trust God, even when you don’t understand.
Third, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Make God the centre of your life; every action, plan, and decision rely on Him, and He will give you clarity for your path. We were created by God, and He has the blueprint for our lives. We were not created to figure out our path through this life alone. God is our guide, and He wants to lead us through the ups and downs of life. He wants to lead us to a life of greater purpose and freedom than any life we could ever create for ourselves.
It takes faith to trust God. Having faith is having trust. Trusting means choosing faith over fear. Faith allows us to see beyond and continue to keep our eyes on the prize. Faith gives us hope and confidence that everything will turn out well. Trust with your entire being. Knowing that God has your back. Trust His promises, not your fear. I realise that whenever I am feeling afraid, I am not trusting that God can handle my situation. We can't always see what's ahead of us; He does. Trust God enough to give him your stresses and struggles. He will handle them. Choose to trust Him, let go of your fear, and hold onto God’s hands to lead you.
God is more than qualified to lead us, and He sees the big picture ahead. There’s great peace and clarity in trusting Him with our entire being. He knows our end from our beginning. He has already put things in place for those days, weeks, and years to come. Trust requires us to place our timing in God’s hands, believing that His timing in our lives is always perfect. God's timing is always perfect, even when we feel as if we are being delayed far too long. God is never late, never early, but always on time.
Remember, it doesn’t matter what your current circumstances are; be confident that God will go before you to make every crooked path straight and guide you every step of the way to the divine plans and purpose that He has designed for you. But you have to trust Him with all your heart.
Be encouraged!
God bless you richly.
