A Spiritual Awakening: The Path to Intimacy

For DeiNavi, the journey toward healing and spiritual maturity has never followed conventional routes.

Her relationship with God was profoundly reshaped through two pivotal moments of divine encounter.

The first came through the Still Waters Movement—a spiritually catalytic community of creatives she became part of through an associate of a former partner.

Through that movement’s leader, the Lord began to open her eyes to a deeper revelation: there was more to this Christian life than what she had known.

Within that time, also, during a Bible study, a prophetic word was spoken over her:

“You know of me, but I will manifest myself to you in Truth so you will know me in your heart.”

That single word pierced through cultural, religious, and emotional layers—pulling her into a personal pursuit of Jesus. What began as curiosity deepened into thirst. God began revealing His heart, His voice, and His divine blueprint for her life in ways she had never imagined.

In many ways, her spiritual rhythm is a rebellion against religious conditioning—a deliberate unlearning of compartmentalized faith - where it can seem like worship and being a Christian is reserved for Prayer Closets, the stage or the Sunday pews - she now experiences Him in quiet moments, random moments, and moments of deliberate seeking - with the recognition that He is truly the omnipresent God.

“I talk to Him like I talk to my father, my friend. Not just with prayer hands, but with full honesty.”

From journaling to worship to whispered prayers while cooking, her life is layered with unforced communion.

Though the people connected to those seasons have faded from the present, the mark they left is eternal and that time remains etched in the bedrock of her relationship with God today.

Faith in Practice: Obedience in the Unseen

Her journey is defined by obedience—especially when clarity is scarce. She recalls her recent transition into being a full-time Gospel Artiste. She was in the process of working on rebuilding her businesses after a valley season and the Lord removed all desire for business from her being. For weeks, she could do nothing and could not understand why as she had believed that she was still to be in the season of execution.

There was a shift, and when she sought the Lord on it, He confirmed that hardcore business pursuits are now over and it was time to walk more in line with Him, and He guided her as to what to implement in moving forward in the embrace of full-time ministry.

“God told me to shut things down. I didn’t know what was next, but I obeyed.”

Again and again, she’s chosen obedience over comfort. And in return, God has proven faithful. Her story is less about sudden breakthroughs and more about sustained surrender. She doesn’t just wait for burning bushes; she listens for God’s voice in the mundane, the monotonous, and the moments others miss. Whether He speaks clearly or chooses silence, her posture remains: “I’ll move when You say move.”

And when silence lingers, she leans on what He said last.

Anchored in Friendship with God

There is no divide between DeiNavi’s faith and her life. God is present in every detail—from her business plans to her melodies, from her rest to her rise.

“There are moments where He gives direct inspiration or instruction—and I ensure that I move in those moments, and if something doesn't feel aligned with what He's guided me to do - I simply don't do it.”

That attentiveness is what sets her apart. While others may chase visibility, she seeks alignment. Her creative energy, peace, and resilience flow from one source—her friendship with God.

“Talking to God in a deliberate way changed everything.”

She no longer lives to meet expectations. Instead, she moves from revelation. And when she speaks over herself—especially on the hard days—she returns to a gentle mantra:

“One step at a time. One day at a time.”

Because at the heart of her journey is not perfection, but persistence. DeiNavi’s story reminds us that spiritual depth isn’t found in performance—it’s cultivated in presence. In listening. In obeying. And in trusting that God speaks, even in the stillness.
