John 15:4–5"
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
These words are both comforting and clarifying. They remind us of where our true strength comes from—not in striving, not in hustle, but in abiding.
To remain in Christ is to stay connected to Him in every part of life—our thoughts, our decisions, our desires, and even our daily routines. Just like a branch cannot survive without the vine, we were never meant to navigate life apart from Him. He is the source of everything: peace, purpose, power, and fruitfulness.

When we stay close to Him, fruit begins to show up—love, joy, peace, patience, and so much more. Not because we force it, but because we’re connected to the One who produces it through us.
And the contrast is clear: "Apart from me, you can do nothing." That might sound heavy at first, but really, it’s freeing. We don’t have to carry the weight alone. We don’t have to produce fruit by our own strength. All we’re asked to do is remain—and let Him do the rest.
So today, pause and ask: Am I staying connected? Am I leaning into the Vine? Fruitfulness comes from closeness. And the invitation is always open.
